This is a selective herbicide for onions and garlic comprised of Oxyfluorfen, available in 500mls and 1 liter which is capable of killing and preventing all weeds (both broadleaf and grasses). It works by being absorbed through the leaves of the weeds and transported to the roots effectively killing all weeds. It is highly effective killing weeds within 2 days in onions and garlic without harming the plants. It should be used 2 weeks (14 days) after transplanting seedlings from the nursery to the field, ensure that there is sufficient moisture in the field before application for optimal absorption.

Dosage: 100-150mls in 20 litres knapsack.

Beche Plus 300 WP

This is a selective herbicide comprised of Bispyribac Sodium and Bensulfuron effective against rice weeds, capable of killing all weeds (broadleaf and grasses) and controlling weed seed germination available in 250g, 500g and 1kg. It is advised to use it when the soil is moist to facilitate absorption in the weeds and the soil where weed seeds are present. The right timing is when the rice has 4 to 6 leaves (2 to 3 weeks) as over 50% of the weeds will have emerged. The components in Beche Plus 300WP will kill these weeds and prevent weed seeds from germinating leaving the rice alone in the field. Available in a wettable powder form in packages of 250g, 500g and 1kg. Due to challenges in measuring herbicides in powder form there is high probability of human error leading to undesired results.

DOSAGE:

Mix Beche Plus 300WP 250g with 60-80 litres, 500g with 120-160 litres, and 1kg with 240-320 litres of water for those with large mixing tanks.

Mix 250g with 1 litre, 500g with 2 litres, and 1kg with 4litres of water making it slurry then a farmer should measure 200-250mls in 20litres knapsack.

ERAZOR 160 OD

This is effective against rice weeds capable of killing all weeds (broadleaf and grasses) and controlling weed seed germination comprised of Cyhalofop-Butyl and Penoxsulam, its available in 500mls sufficient for one and a half acres. It is advised to use it when the soil is moist to facilitate absorption in the weeds and prevent weed seeds from germinating. The right timing is when the rice has 4 to 6 leaves (2 to 3 weeks) as at this time over 50% of the weeds will have emerged. Active ingredients in ERAZOR 160 OD will kill these weeds and prevent weed seeds from germinating, leaving rice on the fields.

Dosage; 100ml to 120ml in 20 litres knapsack.

MAIZEMAX 300WP

This is a selective herbicide used before or after maize and weeds have germinated, preventing weed seeds from germinating (pre-emergence and post-emergence) comprised of Atrazine and Nicosulfuron as active ingredients it's available in a wettable powder form in packages of 500g and 1kg. For best results, it should be applied 3 days after planting seeds, and the soil must have sufficient moisture.

DOSAGE:

Mix 500g of MaizeMax 300 WP in one litre of water to create a slurry and measure 250ml to 300ml in a 15–20-liter pump. For a 1kg package, mix with two litres of water, keeping the same measurements. For those using large mixing tanks mix 500g with 70 litres of water, while 1kg with 140 litres of water

ELAZINE 660SC

This is a pre-emergence herbicide used before crops and weeds have germinated in the field, preventing weed seeds from germinating. It can be used on crops such as maize, sunflower, sesame, rice, and ginger with Metalachlor and Atrazine as active ingredients in 1 liter package. For best results it should be used 3 days after planting seeds and the soil must have sufficient moisture. If there are remaining weeds while preparing the field, it is advised to mix Elazine 660SC (200ml) with Glyphosate (Weedex 480SL) (100 to 150ml) to eliminate the existing green parts while preventing weed seeds from germinating.

Dosage; 200mls in a 16litres and 250mls for 20litres knapsack
